This factory building is one of the oldest concrete structures in Toronto, with the first storey completed circa 1909, and a second storey added in 1930.
This site had been used for a variety of purposes including the manufacture of expanded metal products and ammunition, film production, and worm cultivation.

Seifert Architect led renovations to accommodate the headquarters of beauty company DECIEM, including office spaces, research labs, industrial production, and shipping.

Role:
Worked closely with the principal across all project phases including preliminary design & visualization, permit drawings, construction documents, construction management, consultant coordiation, and photographic documentation throughout the process.
AJW also led the design of the retail store portion of the project (see renderings).
